Professional fire protection and effective sealing
Fire-resistant polyurethane foam RPP-B1 is an advanced solution for professionals and demanding users who need reliable fire protection in construction. The product is distinguished by a high fire resistance class EI 240, which guarantees an effective barrier against fire, smoke and gases in the event of a fire. This ensures the safety of installations and structures, meeting stringent building standards.
Application and product features
RPP-B1 foam is designed for sealing linear joints between building partitions, restoring the fire resistance of walls and ceilings, and insulating spaces around window and door frames. It is also ideal for sealing roof connections and skeletal structures. Its versatility results from excellent adhesion to various materials such as concrete, brick, plaster, wood, metal and polystyrene. A yield of up to 45 liters from a single can (750 ml) makes it an economical choice for larger projects.
- Fire resistance EI 240: provides high protection against the spread of fire.
- Self-extinguishing: increases safety by reducing the risk of further spread of flames after curing.
- Versatile application: ideal for sealing various types of connections in construction.
- Fast skin formation time (approx. 10 minutes): allows work to continue shortly after application.
- Mold and mildew resistance: ensures durability and hygienic conditions.
- Processable: after full curing (24h) the foam can be painted or plastered.
- Optimal application temperature: from +5°C to +30°C allows work in various weather conditions.
Construction and assembly – practical tips
To ensure optimal effectiveness of RPP-B1 foam, it is recommended to prepare the substrate thoroughly – it should be clean, dry and lightly moistened with water before application. Before use, shake the can vigorously for about 30 seconds. The foam is applied using an application gun, filling the gaps evenly from bottom to top. In the case of deeper gaps, layered application is recommended. After curing, excess foam can be removed mechanically, and the surface can be protected against UV radiation. Remember to clean the applicator with a dedicated preparation after each use!
