The valve ensures safe prevention of water backflow in installations where contamination risk is critical – e.g., in potable water supply systems, heating systems, or industrial heating circuits. Its design compliant with EN 1717 makes it an independent protective device against backflow and back-siphonage.

The internal structure includes a closing spring that ensures fast and precise closure upon pressure drop – the minimum opening pressure (50 mbar) allows smooth flow under low loads without unnecessary losses. The seal made of EPDM (ethylene-propylene-diene) is resistant to temperatures from 2 to 65 °C and to potable water, confirming its suitability for food-grade systems.

The housing and internal components are made of dezincification-resistant brass (DZR), eliminating the risk of material degradation during prolonged contact with water – particularly important in regions with hard water or low pH. The connections are internal BSPP-G threads (ISO 228-1), standard for European installations – installation requires no adapters or additional components.

The 90° angle allows compact installation in confined spaces, and the connection length (75 mm on each side) facilitates integration with pipes and fittings. The Kvs value of 60 indicates high flow capacity – the valve does not create significant flow resistance even at high flow rates.

A 5-year warranty from the date of manufacture confirms the stability of materials and the production process. The raw brass finish is an intentional solution: it does not affect water quality, requires no cleaning before installation, and its natural corrosion resistance is sufficient for long-term use.
