Continuous Water Filtration – Even During Cleaning
The backflushing filter F76S-11/4AA ensures a continuous flow of filtered water, even while the screen is being cleaned. Thanks to a special double-spiral technology, water flows through the lower part of the cartridge during filtration and through the upper part during backflushing, simultaneously cleaning the entire filter surface. There are no interruptions in the supply of clean water, and the amount of water used for cleaning is minimal.
The stainless steel filter cartridge with a mesh size of 100 µm effectively traps rust particles, sand, hemp fibers, and other foreign matter. The filter housing made of dezincification-resistant brass (DZR) and the transparent polyamide (PA) bowl cover allow for easy visual inspection of contamination levels – there is no need to disassemble the unit to determine when backflushing is required.
Simple Operation and Full Control
The installed pressure gauge displays the actual inlet pressure and pressure drop – a quick glance is enough to assess the filter's condition. A special adjustment ring (memory ring) indicates when the next backflush is needed. The ball valve with a drain cover enables manual cleaning – after opening the valve, the filter automatically returns to operation mode upon closing. BSPT-R threaded connections (ISO 7-1 / EN 10226-1) allow for easy installation without additional adapters.
Installation is only possible in a horizontal position – the housing must be oriented so that the pressure gauge is clearly visible. The 50 mm diameter drain outlet allows direct connection to the sewer system or a drainage tank. The filter does not include a pressure reducer or air vent – it is a purely mechanical filter.
Compliance and Durability
The filter meets DIN and DVGW standards for potable water and can be used in both residential and commercial installations. With a working pressure up to 16 bar (PN 16), an operating temperature range from 2 to 40 °C, and a nominal flow rate of 8.9 m³/h at a pressure drop of 0.5 bar, it is suitable for systems with high flow demands – for example, at the water meter or before a water softener.
NBR (nitrile butadiene rubber) seals are resistant to temperature and potable water exposure. The filter cartridge is replaceable – there is no need to replace the entire housing. The manufacturer's warranty is 5 years from the date of production.
