Backflush filter with fittings, 1 inch, 100 micron mesh F76S-1AA
Filters water continuously – even during cleaning
The backflushing filter F76S-1AA operates without interruption: when the filter screen becomes clogged, there is no need to shut down the system. The cartridge moves downward, while the upper part of the filter takes over the cleaning function – water continues to flow uninterrupted. This is not only convenient but also protects pumps, valves, and thermal devices from damage caused by sand or rust particles, which they cannot tolerate.
Double-spiral technology – cleaning in 3 seconds
The filter cartridge features an internal turbine that rotates under the influence of water flow during backflushing. The rotating impeller simultaneously flushes out contaminants from both sections of the screen – upper and lower. There is no need to unscrew the housing or replace the filter. Simply open the drain valve for 10–20 seconds: contaminants exit through the 50 mm outlet, and the filter automatically resumes operation. Less water consumption for cleaning compared to other systems – saving resources and protecting the environment.
What's inside – and why it matters
The housing is made of dezincification-resistant brass (DZR), preventing corrosion in soft water. The filter cartridge is made of stainless steel – it does not rust and withstands repeated backflushing cycles. The filter bowl is made of polyamide (PA), offering rigidity and impact resistance; its transparency allows visual inspection to determine when backflushing is needed, eliminating the need for a pressure gauge. NBR (nitrile butadiene rubber) seals are resistant to temperatures up to 40°C and do not degrade with continuous contact with potable water.
The pressure gauge indicates the differential pressure between inlet and outlet – when it rises by 0.5 bar (corresponding to a flow rate of 7.5 m³/h), it signals that the screen is clogged. No guessing required. A special adjustment ring on the housing helps record the date of the last backflush – useful for maintenance planning.
For the installer – simple installation, compliant with standards
Connections feature external BSPT-R threads (ISO 7-1 / EN 10226-1), standard in water supply systems. Horizontal installation – the housing is clearly marked with the "downward" side, where the drain and outlet are located. Installation length is 209 mm, height 351 mm – easily fits even in compact technical cabinets. Compliance with DIN/DVGW standards ensures safe installation in potable water systems without hygiene concerns. The DVGW certificate for the 100 µm screen confirms approval for domestic use.
When does this filter make sense?
A fine-mesh filter is not needed for every installation. However, if you have:
- new copper pipes (possible rust from installation),
- an old heating system (hemp fiber fragments),
- a well or water source containing sand,
- a circulation pump or condensing boiler, then this filter is the simplest way to extend equipment lifespan.
No need to purchase expensive automatic cleaning systems – everything here operates mechanically, without electricity or electronics.
