Backflush Filter, 3/4 inch, 100 µm – Continuous supply of clean water even during cleaning

The F76S-3/4AA filter ensures uninterrupted flow of potable water, even while the filter screen is being cleaned. The double-spiral backflush technology allows simultaneous cleaning of the upper and lower sections of the cartridge – contaminants are removed by an external rotor rather than by reversing the entire flow. This means the installation loses neither pressure nor flow during the cleaning cycle.

The stainless steel filter cartridge retains rust particles, sand, hemp fibers, and other foreign bodies larger than 100 microns. All materials – dezincification-resistant brass (DZR), polyamide (PA), and NBR seals – meet the requirements of DIN/DVGW and KTW standards for potable water. The filter housing is made of DZR brass, and the filter bowl is made of transparent polyamide, enabling visual inspection of contamination levels without disassembly.

A built-in pressure gauge indicates the pressure difference between inlet and outlet. When the pressure drop reaches approximately 0.5 bar (at a nominal flow rate of 5.5 m³/h), it indicates that the screen is clogged and flushing is recommended. A special adjustment ring on the housing serves as a reminder for cleaning – simply rotate it after each operation.

With a nominal flow rate of 5.5 m³/h at Kvs = 7.2 and a maximum working pressure of 16 bar, the filter is suitable for both small domestic installations and medium-sized commercial systems. Installation is possible only in a horizontal position – the filter chamber must face downward. The connections feature external BSPT-R threads (ISO 7-1 / EN 10226-1), and the drain outlet has a diameter of 50 mm, allowing easy connection of a drain pipe.

The flushing process requires only a small amount of water – thanks to the patented technology, there is no need to discharge large volumes or shut down the installation. The filter cartridge and bowl are replaceable – there is no need to replace the entire housing when a single component wears out.

The filter operates at temperatures between 2 and 40 °C, making it suitable for cold potable water. It does not include a pressure reducer or an air vent. All components are approved for contact with potable water and comply with TÜV LGA standards for low flow noise.
