Automatic backwashing filter for potable water

The FF06-3/4AC filter is a compact, automatic fine-mesh filter with a backwashing function that operates continuously – even during screen cleaning. It traps contaminants such as sand, rust, and hemp fibers without interrupting water flow. This eliminates the need to shut down the system to clean the filter, which is critical in continuous supply systems.

The housing and ports are made of dezincification-resistant brass, while the filter cartridge is made of stainless steel, ensuring durability and compliance with KTW requirements for potable water. The transparent housing, made of impact-resistant synthetic material, allows for quick visual inspection of the degree of contamination without disassembly.

Automatic discharge of contaminants is achieved via a ball valve and a threaded 1/4-inch drain (metric external thread). It requires no external power source or manual intervention – simply open the valve for a few seconds to flush out sediment. Installation is simple: the 3/4-inch (20 mm) BSPP connection enables quick integration into existing systems.

The filter complies with DIN/DVGW standards and is certified for use in potable water systems. The maximum medium temperature is 40 °C, and the pressure rating is PN 16, corresponding to typical conditions in domestic and light industrial installations. The 50-micron mesh effectively blocks particles that could damage valves, pumps, or heating equipment.

Designed for horizontal mounting with the filter chamber facing downward, it fits perfectly into tight spaces: under sinks, near boilers, or before mixing valve groups. A 5-year warranty from the date of manufacture confirms its durability and quality of workmanship.
