4-Way Mixing Valve with Electric Actuator for Heating and Air Conditioning Systems

The ZR65FA valve is a 4-way mixing valve with flanged connections, designed for precise temperature regulation of water in heating and cooling installations. Its construction enables smooth mixing of flows from two sources – e.g., return and supply – to achieve the desired mixture temperature, without the need for additional valves or complex control systems.

The housing material is GG 20 (GJL-200) cast iron, ensuring corrosion resistance and long-term stability under humid and thermal conditions. The surface is protected with a primer – it only needs to be finished with an appropriate anti-corrosion paint when installed in aggressive environments.

The connections are flanged, compliant with DIN EN 1092-2, with a nominal diameter of DN 65 and pressure class PN 6. All four ports have identical dimensions (65 mm diameter and 105 mm connection length), simplifying installation and allowing flexible pipeline layout. The valve is intended for use with water or water-glycol mixtures up to 50%, in accordance with VDI 2035.

The electric actuator provides 90° control with a torque of 20 Nm – sufficient for this valve size. It operates as a synchronous motor, automatically locking in end positions via limit switches. Manual operation is possible – simply disengage the gear mechanism to rotate the valve manually. Upon reapplying voltage, the actuator resumes control.

The working medium temperature ranges from 2°C to 130°C – the valve requires no additional heating or cooling even at high return temperatures. The maximum differential pressure at 20°C is only 0.1 bar, indicating that the valve is not designed for operation under large pressure differences between ports; its function is temperature regulation, not medium pumping.

Net weight: 14.9 kg. Height: 234 mm. The valve is compatible with Centra M6061 actuators (e.g., M6061L1035), which are standard in RESIDEO CENTRA systems.
