The Wentilo Icon IS250 E4 AA ventilation unit is an advanced solution providing optimal air quality in the building while simultaneously reducing heating costs. The heat recovery unit, thanks to the use of the airENTHALPY enthalpy exchanger, recovers not only heat but also moisture from the exhaust air, which translates into improved thermal comfort and reduced energy losses. This is particularly important in winter, when dry air can cause discomfort.

Construction and performance

The heart of the device is the airENTHALPY counterflow exchanger, which allows for the recovery of up to 93% of the heat from the exhaust air. The unit's capacity is a maximum of 250 m³/h, making it suitable for single-family homes and smaller public buildings. The construction based on the iNOFRAME platform made of EPP (expanded polypropylene) provides lightness, durability and excellent insulation properties. In addition, the use of high-quality components guarantees reliable operation for a long time.

Air filtration and hygiene

The Wentilo Icon IS250 E4 AA also stands out for its high standard of air filtration. It is equipped with G4+F7 supply filters and an M5 exhaust filter, which effectively remove pollutants, pollen, dust and allergens. Importantly, the unit has an antibacterial coating containing silver phosphate glass – a unique solution providing additional protection against the development of bacteria and fungi. The iEDGE SMART control system enables intuitive operation of the device and adjustment of operating parameters to individual user needs. The device is standardly manufactured in version A.
