Smart home control module – expand the system capabilities iT600RF
The additional receiver RX10RF is an element that expands the functionality of the iT600RF heating control system. It allows for remote control of the heat source, offering convenience and energy savings. The module is compatible with devices operating in the ZigBee standard, ensuring reliable communication and easy integration with other components of the SALUS Smart Home system. It can replace the traditional wired connection between the KL08RF bar and the boiler, simplifying installation and eliminating the need to run additional cables.
Functionality and application
RX10RF acts as a receiver of signals from wireless controllers of the iT600RF series. It operates in two modes: RX1 and RX2, allowing for flexible adaptation to individual user needs. In RX1 mode, the module responds to the heating command from any controller in the ZigBee network, ideal for systems with multiple heating zones. RX2 mode allows you to control the heat source using a single, selected controller – useful, for example, for controlling the temperature of domestic hot water. Combined with TRV thermostatic heads, the receiver can effectively manage the temperature throughout the house or only in selected rooms.
Compatibility and integration
For RX10RF to work correctly, a C010RF coordinator or UGE600 internet gateway and the dedicated SALUS Smart Home mobile application are required. The coordinator or gateway constitutes the central point of the system, enabling communication between devices and remote access to settings and temperature monitoring. A maximum of two RX10RF receivers can be used in one ZigBee network – one configured as RX1 and the other as RX2 – allowing for comprehensive heating management in the home. The module has an IP30 protection class, which means protection against touching with solid foreign objects with a diameter of more than 2.5 mm. It is also equipped with an LED indicator signaling the operating status of the device.
