Design and operating parameters

The Altivar 212 inverter is designed to power three-phase motors with a voltage of 380…480V AC and a frequency of 50/60Hz. Its compact dimensions (width 215 mm, height 297 mm, depth 192 mm) allow for easy mounting even in limited spaces. The rated output current is 2.2A with a maximum output power of 0.75kW, making it an ideal solution for a wide range of medium-power applications. Thanks to the ability to operate with motors with a maximum output frequency of 200 Hz, it provides precise speed control.

Communication and functionality

Altivar 212 offers a wide range of communication possibilities, including an RS-485 interface and Modbus protocol support. Additionally, it supports the LON protocol and other communication protocols, making it easier to integrate with existing automation systems. It has three digital inputs and one analog output, as well as two analog inputs – giving flexibility in configuration to meet specific application needs. The ability to connect to a PC facilitates device configuration and diagnostics. The integrated braking module (chopper) is not included in this version, but the device works perfectly in typical industrial and construction applications.
