This Schneider Electric Altivar 212 frequency inverter is a reliable solution for controlling asynchronous motors. Designed for HVAC applications such as pumps, fans and compressors, it will work well both in industry and in commercial construction. Functionality and communication

The inverter supports a supply voltage of 380-480V AC at a frequency of 50/60Hz and allows controlling motors with a power of up to 7.5 kW (10 HP) with a current of 16A. Thanks to the built-in Modbus RTU (RS-485) interface and the ability to connect to a PC computer, integration with monitoring and automation systems is simple and effective. Additionally, support for the LON protocol allows expanding the system with additional functionalities. It is worth mentioning the possibility of expansion with additional input/output and communication cards.

Construction and parameters

The housing with dimensions of 232 x 180 x 170 mm (height x width x depth) is made of materials providing IP21 protection. The inverter has 3 digital inputs, 2 relay outputs, 2 analog inputs (0-10V or 0-20mA) and 1 analog output (0-10V or 0-20mA). Configuration is done using dedicated SoMove software, which makes it easier to adapt the device to specific application needs. The weight of the device is approximately 6.45 kg. The device can operate at a temperature from -10 to +50°C.
