This Schneider Electric Altivar 320 frequency inverter is a reliable solution for precise control of asynchronous and synchronous motors. Functionality and communication

The ATV320 inverter offers wide communication possibilities, including CANopen, Modbus RTU interfaces and EtherNet/IP, PROFINET IO and DeviceNet protocols. This allows for easy integration with existing automation systems and efficient data exchange. It also has RS-485 connections and the ability to connect to a PC. The number of digital inputs is 6, digital outputs 1, analog inputs 3 and analog outputs 1. The integrated EMC filter ensures electromagnetic compatibility.

Durability and safety

The inverter's design is intended for demanding working conditions. The converter is resistant to interference (protection class IP20) and can operate at an ambient temperature of up to 60°C. In addition, the device meets IEC/EN 61800-5-1 and IEC/EN 61800-3 standards regarding safety and electromagnetic compatibility. The ability to use five built-in safety functions (STO, SLS, SS1, SMS, GDL) increases machine operating safety. The inverter is adapted for continuous operation with overload (HD - Heavy Duty).
