This Schneider Electric Altivar 320 frequency inverter is a reliable solution for controlling asynchronous and synchronous motors. Designed for simple industrial and commercial machines such as packaging machines, close-conveyor systems, actuators and lifting devices, it offers process optimization and cost reduction. The device operates at 200-240V AC and is adapted to a load of up to 4.8A, allowing to power motors with a power of up to 0.75 kW / 1.0 HP.

Construction and functionality

The inverter is characterized by a compact design (72 mm wide, 143 mm high and 138 mm deep), allowing for installation in limited space. The IP20 protection class provides protection against touch and contamination in an industrial environment. The built-in braking module (chopper) increases the efficiency and safety of the system. Thanks to the integrated communication interfaces – CANopen, Modbus RTU and TCP/IP, PROFIBUS, CAN, DeviceNet and EtherNet/IP protocols – it easily integrates with existing automation systems. It also has one RS-485 connection and another communication connection.
