This Schneider Electric Altivar 320 frequency inverter is a reliable and efficient solution for controlling motors in various industrial and commercial applications. Designed to work with synchronous and asynchronous motors, it offers flexibility and precision in speed control, which translates into process optimization and reduced energy costs. Intended for simple machines such as packaging machines, short-distance conveyors, actuators or lifting devices.

Construction and functionality

The housing with dimensions of 180 mm width, 330 mm height and 198 mm depth provides compact dimensions and easy installation. The IP20 degree of protection guarantees protection against touch and dust, making it suitable for most industrial environments. The inverter is equipped with a rich set of interfaces – 6 digital inputs, 1 digital output, 3 analog inputs and 1 analog output – enabling integration with various control systems. In addition, the presence of RS-485, CANopen, Modbus RTU and Ethernet/IP communication ports provides flexibility in communication with other devices and automation systems.

Performance and safety

The Altivar 320 inverter is characterized by a rated power of up to 11 kW with an output current of 54A. The integrated braking module (chopper) increases the efficiency of motor braking, and the possibility of using safety functions (STO, SLS, SS1, SMS, GDL) increases the level of machine operation safety. The design adapted to work at a temperature of up to 60°C and high resistance to environmental conditions (3C3 according to EN/IEC 60721-3-3) ensure reliable operation in difficult industrial conditions.
