The Polybloc LVS04031 distribution block is an advanced distribution solution from the Linergy DX series, designed specifically for modern PrismaSeT switchboards. The single-pole design with a rated current of 160A ensures reliable power supply in industrial and commercial applications.

Construction and system compatibility

The device has been developed with seamless integration in mind for the PrismaSeT G, PrismaSeT P, and PrismaSeT Pack switchboard families. DIN rail mounting enables quick installation in existing systems, and the compact dimensions (36×95×70 mm) allow for efficient use of space within the switchboard.

Compatibility also extends to a wide range of Schneider Electric devices, including the Acti9, ComPact, and Multi9 series. This versatility makes the block an ideal solution for both new projects and the modernization of existing installations.

Advanced electrical connections

At the heart of the block are spring terminals, which eliminate the need for the periodic maintenance typical of screw connections. The power supply system utilizes a 70 mm² tunnel connection, allowing for the connection of thick supply cables. The distribution side offers 6 independent outputs with cross-sections of 6-16 mm², each served by a separate spring terminal.

This solution guarantees a stable electrical connection without the risk of loosening during operation. The spring terminals automatically adjust to the conductor cross-section, ensuring optimal electrical contact.

Operating parameters and safety

The block operates at a rated voltage of 690V AC with a rated insulation voltage of 750V AC. Surge immunity is 8 kV, protecting the installation from the effects of atmospheric lightning and switching operations in the power grid.

A continuous current of 160A at an ambient temperature of 40°C provides a large safety margin for typical industrial loads. Short-term short-circuit withstand strength of 5.5 kA for 1 second and a peak current of 24 kA guarantee resistance to power grid faults.

Normative compliance, certification, and ecology

The product meets the requirements of key international standards: IEC 61439-1/2 (switchgear assemblies), IEC 60947-7-1 (auxiliary equipment), and holds the ASTA certification. Fire resistance is confirmed by the glow wire test at 960°C according to IEC 60695-2-11.

The degree of protection against contact confirms full insulation of all active parts (finger-safe protection - yes), making the device safe for service personnel during installation and maintenance work.
