This switch (latching switch) from the Asfora series by Schneider Electric is an electrical installation accessory designed to control lighting or other electrical devices. Flush-mounted, it provides a practical and aesthetic solution for both home and commercial installations. The device allows you to turn on and off a circuit with a maximum current of 10A, which corresponds to a power of up to 2300W. Solid construction and durable materials ensure reliable operation for a long time.

Installation and connections

The Asfora switch is characterized by easy installation thanks to the use of screw terminals, which allow for secure and quick connection of wires. Long mounting claws with metal guides stabilize the mechanism in the installation box, and clear terminal markings facilitate correct wiring. Compatible with Asfora multiple frames, allowing you to create comprehensive control systems in one place. The minimum depth of the mounting box is 40 mm.

Materials and safety

Made of high-quality thermoplastic (ABS), the Asfora switch is resistant to mechanical damage and external factors. It has a protection degree of IP20, which means protection against touching with a finger and against the ingress of solid objects larger than 12.5 mm. The material is halogen-free, which increases safety and minimizes the emission of toxic substances in the event of a fire. The surface finish is glossy, and the color is classic white (RAL 9003 equivalent).
