Fiber optic pigtails are ready-made single-mode fiber segments with a connector on one end, designed for quick and precise termination of trunk cables at distribution points such as patch panels, splice enclosures, or subscriber outlets. This set includes 12 pieces, each 2 meters long, enabling flexible installation management without the need for on-site cutting or splicing.

All pigtails feature SC/APC connectors – the angled physical contact of the end-face minimizes light reflections, which is critical in high-sensitivity systems such as GPON or FTTH. The fiber complies with the OS2 standard, optimized for long-distance transmission and low attenuation, making it ideal for telecommunications networks and broadband services.

The cable has a diameter of 0.9 mm and a tight-buffer construction, ensuring bend resistance and easy installation in tight spaces. Additionally, each unit is equipped with a molded strain relief boot – not only protecting the connector end from damage during routing but also helping maintain the proper bend radius during installation.

The set is multi-colored – each unit has a different connector housing color. This is not for aesthetics but for functionality: it enables quick identification of individual channels in patch panels, reduces connection errors, and speeds up maintenance.

No specialized equipment is required for installation – only a suitable fiber stripper and cleaver. The pigtail is terminated directly onto the end of the trunk cable and then connected to a patch cord or module in the patch panel. No on-site splicing is needed – saving time and reducing the risk of errors.
