The SVG active reactive power compensator is a power electronic device whose task is to compensate inductive and capacitive reactive power with one module. A quick response, less than 10 ms, to dynamic changes in the cos (φ) value ensures absolute maintenance of the set power factor parameter, individually in each phase, and the reduction of light flicker caused by dynamic changes in reactive power load. Advanced control algorithms protect the device against overloads and eliminate the occurrence of current resonance. The modular design enables very quick and convenient expansion in the event of an increase in power demand.
The SVG compensator display allows you to parameterize the device, view network, compensator and load parameters. The HMI panel has a built-in memory of up to 500 recorded events (logs). In addition, the display shows the waveforms of currents and voltages and the values of basic parameters, the quality of electricity, such as: Active, reactive, apparent power, Cosφ, RMS value of voltages and currents, current in the neutral conductor, THDI, THDU, current and voltage harmonic spectrum , the temperature of the IGBT transistor.
