The SOFAR ESI-5K-T1 inverter is designed for operation with lithium-ion batteries, enabling energy management in on-grid, off-grid, or emergency modes. It serves as the core of the PowerAll system, integrating a photovoltaic installation, energy storage, and the electrical grid into a single intelligent unit.

It features three independent MPPT inputs with AFCI, each supporting up to 20 A input current and voltage up to 1000 Vdc. This allows flexible connection of diverse panel configurations—for example, two strings on one MPPT and one on another—without performance loss. A maximum PV power of 10 kWp is sufficient for most residential installations, with MPPT efficiency reaching up to 99.9%, ensuring minimal energy losses during solar power conversion.

The built-in DC disconnect eliminates the need for an additional protective device—installers do not need to plan extra space or cabling for a separate relay. Connectors feature mechanical locks to prevent accidental disconnection during maintenance. The inverter requires no fan—cooling is passive, resulting in silent operation, which is critical when installed near living areas.

The battery connects via a single input with a voltage range of 350–435 Vdc. Charging power can reach up to 10 kW, while discharging power is rated at 5 kW (matching the inverter’s nominal output power). Charging and discharging currents are limited to 25 A and 15 A respectively, as specified by the manufacturer for system safety. No additional BDU module is required when used with BTS-5K batteries.

The inverter’s total efficiency is 97.6% (European efficiency), with maximum conversion efficiency reaching 97%. The three-phase output (3N+PE) operates at 380–415 VAC and supports unbalanced loads (up to 100% asymmetry), making it ideal for households with diverse loads such as heat pumps, fans, or machinery.

The system has an IP66 protection rating and overvoltage category AC III / DC II—resistant to dust, water, and surges typical for outdoor or unheated installations. It operates in temperatures ranging from -30°C to +60°C (power derates above +45°C), enabling installation even in regions with harsh climatic conditions.

The integrated EMS (Energy Management System) allows scheduling of battery charging and discharging times—ideal for tariffs like G12 or other variable pricing schemes. Export limitation to the grid is also configurable—users decide how much surplus energy to feed back. Communication is via RS485, with optional WiFi/4G/LAN; data can be monitored through a dedicated app.

Mounting is wall-mounted; dimensions are 708×440×170 mm, weight is 30 kg. No additional cooling or fan is required—the design is simple and requires no servicing under normal operating conditions.
