Single-phase inverter SOFAR 4KTLM-G3, 4.0 kW, 2 MPPT, WLAN/LAN and RS485, DC disconnect switch 900.01200102-0
Single-phase Inverter SOFAR 4KTLM-G3 4.0 kW – a solution for medium-power photovoltaic installations: single-family homes, small commercial facilities, or local distributed networks. Its design focuses on reliability, efficiency, and ease of use, without unnecessary complexity.
The built-in DC disconnect allows safe disconnection of panels before servicing or in case of failure – no external switch is required. Two independent MPPT channels enable connection of different panel sections – e.g., with varying tilt, orientation, or shading – while still maximizing energy yield. Each channel supports a maximum current of 22.5 A at voltage up to 550 V, offering flexibility in module selection.
Maximum efficiency reaches 98.4%, with an average Euro-efficiency of 97.3% – meaning nearly every additional watt generated by the panels reaches the grid, rather than being lost as heat. The inverter tolerates DC overload up to 150%, allowing installation of panels with higher capacity than the inverter’s nominal rating – useful for future expansions or when panels produce more energy during cooler days.
The device operates without fans – passive cooling eliminates the risk of mechanical failure and maintains low noise levels (below 25 dB). The housing is made of untouched aluminum with an IP65 protection rating, enabling outdoor mounting – on roofs, walls, or poles – without requiring an enclosure. It operates in temperatures ranging from -30°C to +60°C, making it resistant to extreme climatic conditions.
Advanced protections include: surge protection, reverse polarity, islanding detection, and residual current monitoring (RCMU). Additionally, the zero export function blocks energy feed-in to the grid in case of local network restrictions – useful in regions with grid constraints.
Communication is standard: RS485, with optional WLAN/LAN – enabling connection to mobile apps and web platforms. Real-time monitoring provides data on performance, voltage, current, and system errors. Data is stored for 25 years, facilitating long-term analysis. The app interface is available in Polish, and technical support is also provided in Polish.
Dimensions: 349 x 344 x 164 mm, weight: 9.2 kg – compact and easy to transport and install. “Plug & Play” mounting requires no specialized tools or extended setup time. Compatible with PVSol software – ideal for designers and installers.
Does not require grounding of one polarity of the PV modules – a key safety requirement when selecting panels.
