The Solplanet Ai-Dongle LAN-WLAN Hybrid T2/T3 communication module is a key device enabling effective monitoring and remote access to data from hybrid inverters of the T2/T3 series. It allows for the collection of energy production information and its transmission to the Solplanet cloud, which facilitates the analysis of photovoltaic installation performance. This allows both installers and end-users to have a complete overview of the system's operation.

Communication and functionality

The Ai-Dongle combines LAN and WLAN interfaces, providing flexibility in choosing a connection method to the network. Support for the 2.4GHz 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi standard guarantees a stable wireless connection, and the 10/100 Mbps LAN port allows connection to a wired network. The module is compatible with the Solplanet APP application, allowing convenient access to data from a smartphone or tablet. The ability to manage up to 10 devices makes it an ideal solution for larger installations.

Construction and operating parameters

The module's design was created with reliability and durability in mind. The housing with an IP66 protection class protects against the effects of weather conditions, allowing installation both indoors and outdoors. A wide operating temperature range (-40°C to 60°C) and storage (-40°C to 70°C) ensures trouble-free operation in various climatic conditions. The power supply is 5 V ~ 12 V, and the power consumption is typically 2 W, maximum 5 W. The dimensions of the device are 50 mm x 34 mm x 170 mm, and the weight is approximately 100 g – compact dimensions make it easy to install in a limited space. Additionally, the module has LED indicators informing about its operating status.
