Properties and application

The sealant based on acrylic dispersion is perfect for sealing joints between walls and ceilings, filling gaps and cracks in concrete, brick, plaster and wood. It can also be used for grouting skirting boards and door frames, as well as for sealing building connections with slight movement (up to 15%). It is worth noting that the product does not contain solvents, is odorless and safe for decorative materials used. It does not cause corrosion of metals.

Practical information for installers and users

Soudal Akryl Teak sealant is easy to apply and process. A standard sealant gun is sufficient for application. Before use, make sure the surface is clean, dry and degreased. For highly absorbent substrates, it is recommended to prime them with an acrylic solution with water (1:2). After application, the joint can be smoothed with a damp sponge or spatula before skinning. Tools should be cleaned with water immediately after use. Avoid using the product in places exposed to constant contact with water and on natural stone or bituminous substrates. The application temperature should be between +5°C and +30°C.
