The 4R-0150-T4 (4R214) motor is a professional oil-filled motor with a 4″ diameter, specifically designed to work with standard submersible pumps. Thanks to its NEMA-compliant connection, it serves as a universal driving solution for a wide range of pumps available on the market.

Operating parameters and power supply

The motor operates with a power of 1,5 kW (2 HP) with three-phase 400V/50Hz power supply, reaching a rotational speed of approximately 2850 rpm. It features an efficiency level of 72% and a power factor of cos φ = 0.84. The rated current is 4,0 A, making it an energy-efficient solution for domestic installations and small industrial systems.

Construction and corrosion-resistant materials

The motor housing is made of stainless steel, and the upper bracket is made of nickel-plated cast iron. High-quality mechanical seals and copper windings with Class F insulation are used. The waterproof, replaceable cable connection allows for easy periodic inspections and component replacement without the need to disassemble the entire pump.

Operating conditions and safety of use

The motor is adapted for continuous operation in temperatures up to +35°C and a maximum immersion depth of up to 200 meters. The minimum cooling flow is 0,2 m/s, which ensures optimal heat dissipation during operation. The IP68 ingress protection rating guarantees full water resistance and enables safe operation in underground environments.

Applications and compatibility

The device is ideal for drilled wells (minimum diameter 4″), dug wells, and water reservoirs. It is dedicated to pumps intended for water extraction - including drinking water, where the power cable meets CE standards and the oil in the motor is non-toxic (compliant with US FDA and EPA pharmaceutical standards). The 2-meter power cable has a CE certificate and a blue color dedicated to drinking water.

The motor weight is 15 kg, the housing diameter is 94 mm, and the mounting length is 420 mm. The motor is adapted for operation in both vertical and horizontal positions, with a maximum number of starts being 40 times per hour. The permissible voltage difference in the grid is +10%/-10%, and the pH of the pumped water should be within the range of 6,5-8,0.
