Submersible pump 4" without motor, ST-10-20-M4-5/4" hydraulic end
Professional solution for deep wells and boreholes
The hydraulic part of the STAIRS ST-10-20-M4 submersible pump has been designed for pumping groundwater from great depths. Thanks to its technical parameters - a maximum capacity of 50 l/min and a head reaching 139 m - it is used in water supply installations, irrigation systems, and water applications.
AISI 304 stainless steel construction
The robust construction made of AISI 304 stainless steel guarantees durability and corrosion resistance in the most demanding environmental conditions. Key components, such as the pump housing, discharge and suction connections/fittings, cable shield, and impeller hubs, are made of this high-grade material, resulting in long-term and trouble-free operation of the device.
The impeller made of noryl is responsible for the medium flow through the hydraulic system while maintaining abrasion resistance. The AISI 304 stainless steel pump shaft serves as a solid drive axis for the entire system. Composite materials used to manufacture the shaft bushings (carbon/graphite/PTFE) and the polyoxymethylene plain bearing minimize friction and wear, extending the service life of the device.
Operating parameters and system compatibility
The pump is designed to operate at a medium temperature of up to 35°C with a maximum sand content of 150 g/m³, making it suitable for pumping groundwater with varying levels of contamination. The 4" diameter in NEMA standard allows for connection with most available submersible motors and installation systems.
The NEMA standard allows for integration with existing installations and part replacement without the need to modify the entire system. The check valve located in the discharge port automatically protects the installation against backflow, eliminating the risk of hydraulic damage.
Technical solutions and safety
Operational safety is ensured through a range of technical solutions. Acid-resistant steel suction strainers protect the pump from sand ingress, which reduces the risk of failure caused by the abrasive action of solid particles.
The NEMA standard shaft coupling enables connection to an electric motor and transmits torque between components. The simple design facilitates servicing and maintenance - even individuals without specialized experience can handle basic operating tasks.
