Submersible pump 4" without motor, ST-80-20-M4-2" hydraulic end
Professional hydraulics for demanding installations
The hydraulic part of the STAIRS ST-80-20-M4 submersible pump is an advanced solution designed for the most difficult groundwater pumping tasks from deep wells and boreholes. This 4-inch NEMA standard hydraulics forms the heart of the pumping system, offering an impressive performance of 400 l/min at a maximum head of 122 meters.
Premium construction and materials
The robust construction based on high-grade AISI 304 stainless steel guarantees exceptional durability and corrosion resistance in all environmental conditions. Key components are made of the highest quality materials: the pump housing, discharge/suction nozzle, cable shield, and impeller hubs made of AISI 304 stainless steel ensure long-term operation without corrosion issues.
Impellers made of modern NORYL thermoplastic material with high abrasion resistance work in conjunction with polycarbonate diffusers, creating an efficient centrifugal system. The AISI 431 stainless steel pump shaft and the carbon/graphite/PTFE composite shaft sleeve ensure reliable power transmission with minimal friction.
Performance and system compatibility
The advanced design with 20 floating impellers enables efficient pumping of media with temperatures up to 35°C and sand content up to 150 g/m³. The floating impeller system, mounted on movable sleeves, protects the hydraulics from clogging - sand particles only cause a slight lifting of the impeller without damaging the components.
The NEMA 4" connection standard ensures full compatibility with most available submersible motors. The shaft coupling and suction body are manufactured according to NEMA standards, guaranteeing a seamless hydraulic connection with the drive.
Safety and operational reliability
Safe operation is ensured by a factory-installed check valve located in the discharge nozzle, which protects the system against backflow and stabilizes the installation's operation. Additionally, acid-resistant steel suction baskets effectively protect the pump from sand ingress.
A high-quality polyoxymethylene plain bearing and advanced composite materials at critical points guarantee long-term operation without the need for frequent inspections. The simple design facilitates both installation and subsequent maintenance - even individuals without specialized experience can manage the device's operation.
