Backflow preventer class CA DN 20 3/4 inch 6800.20.000
Professional protection of water installations against secondary contamination
The CA class anti-contamination valve DN 20 is a compact device ensuring effective protection of water supply systems against the backflow of contaminated water into the potable water network. Compliance with the PN EN1717 standard guarantees safe protection of fluids up to category 3, covering substances posing a potential hazard to humans.
Construction and materials ensuring durability
The valve body is made of low-lead brass alloys, resistant to dezincification, eliminating the risk of material degradation upon contact with water. Internal components are made of high-quality stainless steel and certified plastics approved for contact with potable water, meeting the rigorous KTW guidelines. The discharge funnel is made of durable plastic, resistant to aggressive media.
Operating parameters and installation requirements
The device operates within a pressure range of 1.5-10 bar and temperatures up to 65°C, ensuring stable performance in typical domestic and industrial installations. Installation requires a horizontal position with the discharge funnel oriented vertically downward, while maintaining easy accessibility for service work. The installation must be carried out in a room with effective ventilation, free from drafts and extreme temperatures.
Isolation valves must be installed before and after the device, with the inlet valve equipped with an air vent. Prior to installation, thorough flushing of the connecting piping is recommended, along with the installation of an additional EN 13443 filter to prevent malfunction.
Wide spectrum of professional applications
CA type valves are used, among others, in beverage vending machines, hairdressing salons, and self-cleaning boiler machines. They are also applied in cooking units, cleaning devices for food installations, and cooling circuits of X-ray apparatuses.
They play a particularly important role in kitchen hose connections for rinsing and filling valves for heating installations (for water without inhibitors). In the medical and pharmaceutical sectors, they are used in sterilizers for disinfecting packaging materials.
The product holds a PZH certificate.
