Universal combiner for summing DVB-T/T2 signals

The SteeringMUX 8 combiner is a practical solution for connecting signals from various antenna sources into one cable. It enables reception of signals from UHF, VHF and FM bands, making it ideal for home television and radio installations. This is particularly useful when you need to combine signals from multiple antennas into one location, e.g. to connect to a single TV or decoder.

Flexibility and compatibility

The device offers four inputs – two for UHF, one for VHF and one for FM – and one output. This allows you to easily sum signals from different sources, such as digital terrestrial television antennas (DVB-T/T2), FM radio or satellite antennas (after using an appropriate converter). Importantly, the combiner has a function to switch the power supply on/off for each band, ensuring compatibility with both passive and active (amplified) antennas. A DC pass-through current of 60 mA allows you to power antenna amplifiers directly through the coaxial cable.

Installation and protection

The SteeringMUX 8 has been designed for easy installation both indoors and outdoors. The kit includes a protective housing and a cable tie, which allow for secure and stable mounting of the device on an antenna mast. The housing with IP53 protection class protects against the effects of weather conditions, such as rain or humidity, ensuring reliable operation for a long time. The operating temperature range from -10°C to +55°C guarantees correct operation of the device in various climatic conditions. F-type connectors facilitate the connection of coaxial cables.
