The LiYY 3x0.25 control cable is a reliable solution for installation in control, signaling, monitoring systems and for data transmission. It will work well in both industrial applications and commercial or residential buildings. Its flexibility and small dimensions make it easy to install even in tight spaces, and its mechanical strength ensures long-term operation.

These cables are ideal for working with analog and digital signals, including computer systems and measurement technology. They can be used to power small receivers, remembering the permissible current loads. The cable construction allows it to be used in both fixed and mobile installations inside buildings. Additionally, the cable jacket exhibits good resistance to oil, increasing its durability in harsh environmental conditions.

Construction and design features

The LiYY cable is characterized by a careful construction ensuring high quality and reliability:

• Conductors: made of soft copper strands, twisted for increased flexibility (class 5 according to PN-EN 60228). Tinning option available on request.
• Insulation: polyvinyl chloride (PVC) insulation in colors according to DIN VDE 47100 standard facilitates conductor identification.
• Core: twisted layers of insulated conductors form a compact core ensuring stability.
• Sheath: polyvinyl chloride (PVC) jacket in gray RAL 7001 color protects the cable from mechanical damage and external factors. Other colors are also available on request.

Thanks to this construction, the cable is flexible, durable and easy to install.

Applications and specifications

The LiYY 3x0.25 cable with a cross-section of 0.25 mm² and three conductors is primarily used in:

• industrial control and automation systems
• signaling and alarm installations
• connections of measuring devices
• data transmission in computer systems
• powering small receivers (taking into account the permissible current load)

This cable is designed to operate at temperatures from -30°C to +80°C for fixed installation and from -5°C to +70°C for mobile installation. The operating voltage is Uo/U=350/500 V. Additionally, TECHNOKABEL offers specialized versions of this cable:
