Control cable for a wide range of applications

LiYY control cable is a versatile solution for control, signaling, monitoring and data transmission systems in industrial and automation installations. It is suitable for both buildings and machines where flexibility and damage resistance are required. This cable is particularly recommended for working with analog and digital signals, as well as for powering small receivers - provided that permissible loads are maintained.

Construction and application

Technotronik LiYY cables are characterized by high flexibility while maintaining mechanical strength. Their construction is based on multi-wire copper conductors (zinc-plating option available), insulated with polyvinyl chloride (PVC) in colors according to DIN VDE 47100. The conductors are twisted in layers in the core, and the whole is surrounded by a gray (RAL 7001) coating of rubberized polyvinyl chloride (PVC). This makes the cable resistant to oil and suitable for permanent laying as well as for movable connections inside buildings.

It is worth mentioning the available special versions:

• LiYY-O: resistant to petroleum-based materials - ideal for gas stations or warehouses.
• LiY11Y: with increased mechanical strength, resistant to abrasion, tearing, oil, gasoline, bacteria and UV radiation.
• LiHH: halogen-free - increased fire safety thanks to limited emission of smoke and corrosive gases.
• IB-LiYY: designed for intrinsically safe circuits.

LiYY 4x0.5 gray cable is distinguished by a conductor cross-section of 0.5 mm² and four conductors. The flexible construction with flexible copper wires ensures easy installation and routing of cables even in tight spaces. The use of high-quality insulating materials guarantees reliable operation over a wide temperature range - from -30°C to +80°C.
