Construction and properties
The LiYY 3x0.25 cable consists of three flexible copper strands twisted together. Each strand is insulated with PVC in a color compliant with DIN VDE 47100. The strands are twisted in layers to provide better protection against interference. The whole is surrounded by a jacket made of PVC sheathing (PVC) in black (RAL 7001), which provides mechanical and chemical resistance.
The rated values of the cable are 300V and a strand cross-section of 0.25 mm². This allows the cable to be used to power small receivers (taking into account the permissible load). The operating temperature ranges from -30°C to +80°C for fixed installations and from -5°C to +70°C for mobile installations.
