Control cable – reliability in automation and control systems

The LiYY control cable is an excellent solution for use in control, signaling, monitoring and data transmission systems. This cable, with a conductor cross-section of 0.34 mm² and two conductors, is suitable for both industrial installations and measurement technology. Its flexible construction and small dimensions make it easy to install even in tight spaces, while ensuring high mechanical strength.

Construction and properties

The key to the versatility of the LiYY cable is its carefully designed construction. It consists of:

• Copper conductors: flexible, stranded copper conductors class 5 (according to PN-EN 60228) provide good conductivity and flexibility. Tinning on request.
• PVC insulation: each conductor is insulated with insulating polyvinyl chloride (PVC), which guarantees safety and reliable operation. Insulation colors are in accordance with DIN VDE 47100.
• Braid: twisted layers of conductors form a core that provides additional protection against mechanical damage.
• PVC jacket: the outer jacket made of plasticized polyvinyl chloride (PVC) in gray RAL 7001 color protects the cable from external factors, including oils. Other colors are also available on request.

This cable is intended for permanent laying and for movable connections inside buildings. Its resistance to oils makes it an ideal choice for industrial environments exposed to contact with petroleum substances.
