Control cable – versatile application in automation and control
The LiYY control cable is a reliable solution for control, signaling, monitoring and data transmission systems in industrial installations and automation. It will work both in buildings and in machines, where flexibility and resistance to external factors are required. This cable is particularly recommended for working with analog and digital signals, as well as in computer systems and measurement technology.
Cable construction and design
The key to the versatility of the LiYY cable is its carefully designed construction. It consists of:
- flexible, stranded conductors made of soft copper wires (tinned on request), which ensures high flexibility and easy installation.
- conductor insulation made of insulating polyvinyl chloride (PVC) in colors according to DIN VDE 47100, which facilitates the identification of individual conductors.
- stranded layers of conductors around the core, which increases the mechanical strength of the cable.
- cable jacket made of sheathing polyvinyl chloride (PVC) in gray RAL 7001, providing good resistance to oils. Other colors are also available on request.
The conductor cross-section of 0.25 mm² with 3 conductors provides sufficient performance for many control applications.
Applications and benefits
