This black LiYY 5x0.25 control cable is an ideal solution for a wide range of applications in control, signaling, monitoring and measurement technology systems. Construction and properties

The cable is constructed of five flexible, stranded copper conductors with a cross-section of 0.25 mm². Each conductor is insulated with PVC insulation in a color compliant with DIN VDE 47100. The conductors are twisted in layers in the core, and the whole is surrounded by a PVC sheath in gray RAL 7001. This construction provides resistance to mechanical damage and good protection against external factors.

In addition, the cable sheath is characterized by good resistance to oils, which increases its durability and reliability in harsh working conditions. Special versions of LiYY cables are also available:

• LiYY-O: designed for use in places exposed to contact with petroleum-based materials (e.g. gas stations).
• LiY11Y: with increased mechanical resistance to abrasion and tearing, resistant to oil, gasoline, bacteria and UV radiation.
• LiHH: halogen-free cables providing greater fire safety due to limited emission of smoke and corrosive gases.
• IB-LiYY: version for use in intrinsically safe circuits.

The cable meets the requirements of PN-EN 60228 (class 5) regarding flexible stranded conductors and DIN VDE 47100 regarding the colors of conductor insulation.
