This fire-resistant power cable, designated as NHXH FE180 PH90/E90 0.6/1 kV 1x400 RM, is designed for installations requiring the highest level of fire protection. Construction and application

This cable is intended for use in electrical installations where resistance to high temperature and fire propagation is required. It is ideal for buildings with increased fire protection requirements – tunnels, hospitals, shopping centers or cinemas. It provides maintenance of electrical functions for 90 minutes (PH90/E90), which is crucial for powering life-saving devices during a fire: water pumps, smoke extractors, emergency lighting. It can be used both indoors and outdoors. In addition, thanks to its UV resistance, it is suitable for outdoor applications. With appropriate protection against moisture, installation in water or soil is also possible.

The cable is made of high-quality materials:

• Conductors made of soft copper wires (according to PN-EN 60228), available in RE class (solid core) or RM class (stranded core).
• Conductor insulation made of cross-linked halogen-free plastic, minimizing the emission of toxic gases during a fire. Insulation colors are in accordance with PN-HD 308 or black with white wire numbers for easy identification.
• Protective conductor (in NHXH-J cable) placed in the outer layer for additional safety.
• Filling compound made of halogen-free material providing additional protection against moisture and mechanical damage.
• Durable outer sheath made of halogen-free material (HFFR) with HM4 properties (according to PN-HD 604 S1 and VDE 0276-604), characterized by high fire resistance and low smoke emission. Orange color ensures good visibility of the cable during installation and operation.
