Fire resistance and material properties

TECHNOFLAME series cables are characterized by high fire resistance, confirmed by certificates and approvals from the Research and Development Center for Fire Protection - PIB in Józefów. The use of halogen-free materials in the insulation and sheath minimizes the emission of toxic gases during a fire, increasing evacuation safety. In addition, the cable does not spread flames, and its sheath is resistant to UV radiation, allowing it to be used both indoors and outdoors.

Construction and application

The cable consists of copper wires insulated with halogen-free material, twisted in layers around a core. The cable filling with a halogen-free material provides additional protection against moisture. The sheath made of HFFR (Highly Flame Retardant) with HM4 properties according to PN-HD 604 S1 guarantees high resistance to fire and mechanical damage. This makes the cable suitable for use in rooms protected by fixed extinguishing systems and for laying in water and soil (with additional protection).
