This three-core power cable with a cross-section of 50 mm² is designed for installations requiring the highest level of fire safety. Manufactured from high-quality materials, it complies with stringent standards and ensures uninterrupted power supply during emergency situations. The NHXH-J FE180 PH90/E90 cable features high fire resistance, low smoke emission, and zero toxic gas release during combustion. In the event of a fire, it enables safe evacuation and effective firefighting operations by maintaining the operation of critical systems—such as fire pumps, ventilation, and emergency lighting—for at least 90 minutes.

Construction and application

The cable is designed for permanent installation both indoors and outdoors. Its outer sheath is UV-resistant, enhancing durability in external conditions. The ability to install in water and soil (with additional protection) expands its range of applications.

The cable construction includes:

• Conductors: Made from soft copper strands (per PN-EN 60228), ensuring flexibility and ease of installation. Available in both single-wire (RE) and multi-wire (RM) configurations.
• Insulation: Made from cross-linked halogen-free compound, guaranteeing safety in case of fire. Insulation colors comply with PN-HD 308 or are black with white numbering. In the NHXH-J version, the green-yellow protective conductor is located in the outer layer.
• Sheath: Filled with halogen-free material and covered with an outer sheath of HFFR (HM4 properties per PN-HD 604 S1), providing fire resistance and minimal emission of hazardous substances. Orange color facilitates easy identification.

Certifications and compliance with standards

The cable holds a Certificate of Conformity and an Approval Certificate from the Scientific and Research Center for Fire Protection – PIB in Józefów, confirming its high quality and compliance with rigorous safety requirements. It is intended for use in installations requiring maintained power supply during fire, in accordance with standards PN-HD 604 S1 and VDE 0276-604 - HM4.
