As a result, it meets stringent safety standards and is suitable for use in facilities with elevated fire protection requirements—hospitals, shopping centers, cinemas, and public buildings. It maintains electrical functionality for 90 minutes (PH90/E90), which is essential for the operation of evacuation and fire suppression systems.

Construction and Application

This cable is ideal for stationary installations, both indoors and outdoors. It can be installed in areas protected by fixed fire suppression systems. Additional UV resistance allows exposure to outdoor weather conditions. With proper protection against moisture, it may also be used underwater or buried in soil. The cable construction includes:

• Conductors: Made of soft copper strands (compliant with PN-EN 60228), available in RE (single-wire) or RM (multi-wire) versions.
• Insulation: Composed of mica tape and cross-linked halogen-free compound, marked with colors according to PN-HD 308 or black with white conductor numbers. In the TECHNOFLAME NHXH-J cable, the protective earth conductor (green-yellow) is located in the outer layer.
• Stranding: Insulated conductors are layered twisted to ensure flexibility and ease of installation.
• Filling: The space between conductors is filled with halogen-free material.
• Sheath: Made of halogen-free flame-retardant material (HFFR) with HM4 properties per PN-HD 604 S1, available in orange color—facilitating easy identification.
