Fire resistance and human protection

The NHXH-J FE180 PH90/E90 cable is designed to maintain the electrical functions of installations for 90 minutes in fire conditions. This is critical for the operation of fire suppression systems, emergency lighting, ventilation, and other devices essential for ensuring the safety of people during evacuation. The use of halogen-free materials minimizes the risk of toxic fumes during combustion, further increasing safety.

Construction and application

The cable consists of flexible copper wires insulated with a halogen-free plastic. The cores are twisted in layers around a central core, and the whole is surrounded by a halogen-free filling and an outer HFFR (Highly Flame Retardant, Halogen Free) coating in orange. This construction provides not only fire resistance but also flexibility and durability. The ability to use both indoors and outdoors, as well as resistance to UV radiation, expands its range of applications. Additionally, with appropriate protection against moisture, the cable can be laid in water or soil.
