Fire resistance and material properties

The NHXH-J FE180 PH90/E90 0.6/1 kV cable is characterized by high resistance to fire, smoke, and toxic gases. Made of halogen-free materials, it does not spread flames, and the emitted smoke is minimal and harmless. This ensures safe evacuation of people and enables firefighting operations without exposing rescuers to harmful substances. The use of halogen-free materials also minimizes the risk of corrosion of electronic devices in the event of a fire.

Cable application and construction

TECHNOFLAME series cables are designed for permanent installation indoors and outdoors. They are particularly recommended for installations in facilities such as subway tunnels, hospitals, shopping centers, cinemas, theaters, or stadiums – anywhere where maintaining the electrical functions of installations during a fire is required (e.g., powering fire pumps, smoke extractors, or emergency lighting).

The cable construction includes:

• Conductors made of soft copper wires (according to PN-EN 60228), available in RE class (solid) or RM class (stranded).
• Conductor insulation made of cross-linked halogen-free material, marked with colors according to PN-HD 308 or black with white numbers. In the NHXH-J version, the protective green-yellow conductor is located in the outer layer.
• Layered twisted insulated conductors placed in the core.
• Filling layer made of halogen-free material.
• Durable outer sheath made of HFFR material (with HM4 properties according to PN-HD 604 S1), providing resistance to UV radiation and the possibility of laying in water and soil (with additional protection).
