This orange power cable, designated as NHXHRHX-J FE180 PH90/E90 0.6/1 kV 5x70 RM, is an advanced solution designed for applications requiring the highest level of fire safety. Manufactured by TECHNOKABEL S.A., this cable combines a solid construction with modern materials, ensuring reliable operation even in extreme conditions. The conductor cross-section of 70 mm² and five cores make it an efficient solution for installations requiring high bandwidth.

Construction and properties

The cable is designed to ensure continuous power supply in emergency situations. Stranded copper conductors (class 2 - RM) guarantee flexibility and ease of installation. The insulation of the cores made of halogen-free cross-linked plastic provides a high level of safety and minimizes the emission of toxic gases in the event of a fire. Additionally, the cable has a spirally wound galvanized steel wire armour that protects it from mechanical damage and environmental influences. The outer sheath made of halogen-free cross-linked plastic (HFFR) in orange color facilitates cable identification and provides resistance to UV radiation.

The cable meets the PN-EN 50200 Annex E standard, confirming its resistance to water, which allows it to be used in damp rooms or directly in the ground. It is also oil-resistant, making it ideal for use in petrol stations, fuel storage facilities and other facilities exposed to contact with petroleum substances.

Application and certificates

TECHNOFLAME NHXHRHX/NHXHRHX-J FE180 PH90/E90 series cables are designed for permanent installations inside and outside buildings and directly in the ground. They are used wherever it is required to maintain the electrical circuit in the event of a fire for a specified time – E90 (function maintenance for 90 minutes) and PH90 (function maintenance for 90 minutes). It has a certificate of conformity and a certificate of approval issued by the Scientific Research Centre for Fire Protection - PIB in Józefów.
