Construction and application

This cable consists of 10 copper conductors with a cross-section of 1 mm², twisted in pairs. The conductor insulation is made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC), and the entire cable has a static screen made of laminated metal foil, which minimizes electromagnetic interference. The red outer coating makes it easy to identify the cable in the installation. The purpose of the cable is primarily to transmit control signals to auxiliary devices in the event of a fire – disconnecting ventilation, bringing elevators down, or shutting off the power to the facility. Therefore, this cable plays a key role in ensuring the safety of people and property.
