Fire-resistant telecommunications cable – safety and reliability of connections
The HTKSH 3x2x0.5 red cable is an advanced solution designed for installations in areas with enhanced fire safety requirements. It performs optimally in fire alarm systems, fire automation, and data transmission in industrial and automation installations. The cable is engineered for permanent connections of stationary telephonic and teletransmission devices, ensuring stable transmission of analog and digital signals.
The key feature of the HTKSH cable is its halogen-free construction. This means that in the event of a fire, it does not emit toxic gases or dense smoke, significantly enhancing human safety and protecting expensive electronic equipment. It holds a Certificate and Approval Certificate issued by the Scientific and Research Center for Fire Protection – PIB in Józefów, confirming compliance with the highest safety standards.
The cable’s construction consists of six conductors, each with a cross-section of 0.5 mm², made from soft copper wires. Each conductor is insulated with halogen-free material, and insulation colors comply with standard PN-92/T-90321. Conductors are twisted into pairs or quads and then bundled into the cable core, which is wrapped in polyester tape. The outer red sheath is made of halogen-free flame-retardant (HFFR) material meeting the requirements of EN 50290-2-27 and VDE 0250-214 (HM2).
The HTKSH cable is intended for permanent indoor installation. Its design ensures resistance to electromagnetic interference and long-term operational reliability. Choosing this cable is an investment in safety and peace of mind, especially in applications where fire protection requirements are a priority.
