Fire-Resistant Telecommunication Cable – Safety and Reliability in Critical Installations
This red HTKSHekw FE180 PH90/E30-E90 cable from TECHNOKABEL is an advanced solution for systems requiring the highest level of fire safety. Designed for permanent connections in alarm, signaling, teletransmission, and DSO systems, as well as for data transmission in industrial and automation installations, it ensures uninterrupted operation even under extreme conditions. The cable holds certification and approval from the Scientific and Research Center for Fire Protection – PIB in Józefów, confirming its high quality and compliance with rigorous standards.
The cable features a design that minimizes the risk of fire spread. The use of halogen-free materials ensures extremely low smoke emission during a fire, while the released gases are non-toxic and non-corrosive – critical for protecting both people and equipment. Additionally, the cable maintains functionality during a fire, sustaining data transmission and power supply to critical devices such as emergency lighting. It is resistant to water exposure in accordance with PN-EN 50200 Annex E, enabling its use in sprinkler zones.
The cable construction includes four cores with a cross-section of 2.3 mm², made from soft copper strands. The cores are insulated with halogen-free compound and twisted into pairs to reduce electromagnetic interference. A common static shield protects against external electric fields, while the grounding conductor enhances operational safety. The outer sheath is made of red halogen-free flame-retardant (HFFR) material with high resistance to environmental factors.
This cable is an ideal solution for fixed indoor installations requiring high fire resistance and minimal emission of toxic substances in case of fire. Its specifications make it an indispensable component of safety systems in facilities with stringent fire protection requirements.
