The YnTKSY 6x2x0.8 red cable is a wire intended for permanent installation inside buildings, where reliable signal transmission is required in fire alarm systems, fire automation, and control of emergency devices—such as ventilation shutdown, elevator recall, or power cutoff upon detection of a hazard. This is a cable designed to function at the "0" moment—when a detector identifies a fire and the control panel must receive a signal without interference.

It is constructed with 6 pairs of single-strand soft copper conductors, each with a cross-section of 0.8 mm²—totaling 12 conductors. The conductors are insulated with PVC (polyvinyl chloride), with colors compliant with PN-92/T-90321. The pairs are twisted and arranged in a core wrapped with polyester tape. This solution minimizes interference between wires and ensures stability for analog or digital signals.

The cable sheath is made of special tire-grade PVC with an oxygen index greater than 29%, in red—the standard identification color for cables intended for fire protection systems. The red casing facilitates identification during installation and maintenance.

The cable does not include a metal shield or a grounding conductor—such a construction applies exclusively to the YnTKSYekw version. Protection against electromagnetic interference relies solely on the structure of twisted pairs and insulation. This does not reduce functionality; it simply means the installation must be designed taking into account the absence of an external shield.

The outer diameter is approximately 8.4 mm, and the mass is about 102 kg/km—making the cable sufficiently rigid for stable mounting while remaining flexible when routed through conduits and enclosures. It requires no special tools or additional covers—standard telecommunications cable installation practices are sufficient.

The cable meets the requirements of the National Technical Assessment and holds a Certificate of Approval from the Scientific Research Center for Fire Protection (PIB) in Józefów—confirming its authorization for use in public and commercial facilities.
