Fire‑resistant telecommunications cable YnTKSYekw 1x4x0.8 blue 0382 008 20
Cable for fire alarm systems with static shield and fire‑retardant coating
The YnTKSYekw 1x4x0.8 cable is designed exclusively for use in fire alarm and fire‑automation systems — where maintaining circuit operation at the moment of fire detection is a matter of life and death. It carries trigger signals from detectors to the control panel, activates auxiliary devices — such as shutting down ventilation, calling elevators or cutting power — regardless of fire conditions.
The sheath made of special tire‑derived polwinit has an oxygen index above 29%, guaranteeing self‑extinguishing properties and limiting flame spread. This is not a “fire‑resistant” cable — it is a cable that does not support combustion, and its construction meets fire‑installation requirements according to Polish regulations.
Each of the four conductors has a cross‑section of 0.8 mm² and is made of solid copper — a stable structure that ensures consistent conductivity even under prolonged load. The conductors are insulated with polwinit, twisted in a quartet and placed in a core wrapped with polyester tape. The internal configuration minimizes mechanical interference risk and provides durability under repeated bending.
A static shield of laminated metal foil and a tinned grounding conductor protect the transmission from electromagnetic interference — crucial when operating near other electrical installations or control devices. The shield is not optional — it is an integral part of the cable design, ensuring proper system operation in real conditions.
The cable is intended for permanent indoor installation. Do not use it in locations exposed to water or outdoors.
The minimum bending radius is 10 times the cable diameter — installation must be performed with care to avoid damaging the insulation structure. Operating temperature: from -40 °C to +80 °C. Installation below -10 °C may cause insulation damage — this should be considered when planning work.
It has a National Technical Assessment and Approval Certificate from the Fire Protection Research Center PIB Józefów — meaning it is legally approved for use in fire‑protection installations. It complies with RoHS requirements and bears the CE mark.
