Construction and Properties

The NHXCH FE180 PH90/E90 cable features an advanced design that delivers exceptional performance. It is constructed with soft stranded copper conductors (RE – single-wire round, Class 1), insulated with halogen-free material. The layered twisted cores are surrounded by a halogen-free filling, further enhancing safety. A concentric copper conductor and an anti-torsion spiral ensure signal stability. The entire assembly is covered with a halogen-free (HFFR) outer sheath conforming to PN-HD 604 S1 with HM4 properties, in orange color — facilitating easy identification within installations.

Importantly, this cable does not propagate flame, emits very little smoke, and releases non-toxic and non-corrosive gases — minimizing health and environmental risks during a fire. It is resistant to water exposure (in accordance with PN-EN 50200 Annex E) and can be installed in areas equipped with sprinkler systems. Additionally, the sheath is UV-resistant, allowing outdoor use. With appropriate protection against moisture, it can also be installed underground or even submerged in water.
