Halogen-free power cable – safety and reliability of installation

This orange NHXCH FE180 PH30/E30 0.6/1 kV power cable with four 16 mm² conductors is designed for applications requiring a high level of fire safety. Made of halogen-free materials, it minimizes the emission of toxic gases in the event of a fire, protecting both people and equipment. This cable is ideal for installation in public buildings such as hospitals, shopping centers or tunnels, where maintaining power to rescue and evacuation devices during a hazard is crucial.

Construction and properties

The cable is designed for durability and reliability. Conductors made of soft copper wires (RE – solid or RM – stranded) provide good flexibility and ease of installation. Insulation made of cross-linked halogen-free plastic guarantees high resistance to temperature and chemicals. The cable jacket, also halogen-free (HFFR), meets the standards PN-HD 604 S1 and VDE 0276-604 - HM4, confirming its properties of limiting the spread of fire and low emission of smoke and toxic gases.

The cable retains its working properties even in difficult conditions. It can be used in rooms protected by fixed fire extinguishing systems and outdoors (with additional protection against moisture). Additionally, the jacket is resistant to UV radiation.
