YnKGSLY 0.6/1 kV cable is a reliable solution for transmitting signals in the harsh conditions of mining. Designed for control, measurement, signaling, control and local communication circuits, this cable is used in both surface and underground mines. The cable construction ensures safety and resistance to mechanical damage and external factors.

Construction and application in mining

YnKGSLY cables are designed with the specific requirements of working in mining plants in mind. They can be used in methane and non-methane fields, as well as in workings threatened by coal dust explosions. Thanks to the Positive Technical Opinion No. 05/53 and Certificate No. 05/53/A1/2 of the TI EMAG Institute, the cable meets the stringent safety standards applicable in the mining industry. It is not intended for power installations – its main task is to transmit control and information signals.

The cable cores are made of soft copper wires class 5 (with the option of tinning), which ensures their flexibility and resistance to repeated bending. Insulation made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) guarantees good electrical protection, and the outer coating made of special tire polyvinyl chloride provides resistance to abrasion and mechanical damage. The color of the coating is yellow for 0.6/1kV voltage, which facilitates cable identification.
