The YnKGSLY 18x1.5+1.5 cable is a robust solution for control, measurement, signaling, and automation installations in mining facilities. Construction and Application – Key to Efficient Operation

This cable is suitable for use in both surface and underground mining operations. It can be installed in methane and non-methane zones, as well as in areas at risk of coal dust explosions. It is a versatile solution approved for use in intrinsically safe circuits. However, it is important to note that this cable is not intended for power supply installations.

Cable construction includes:

• Conductors: Flexible, multi-wire copper conductors (tin-plated upon request), Class 5 according to PN-EN 60228 – ensuring flexibility and reliable connections.
• Insulation: Insulating polyvinyl chloride (PVC) in various colors for easy conductor identification (green-yellow for the protective conductor, black and blue for others).
• Core: Wrapped with polyester tape for enhanced mechanical protection.
• Sheath: Made of special flame-retardant rubber-grade PVC with enhanced fire resistance – ensuring safety in case of fire. Available colors: black RAL 9005 and blue RAL 5015 (for intrinsically safe circuits).

The cable holds a positive technical opinion No. 05/53 and certificate No. 05/53/A1/2 issued by the TI EMAG Institute, confirming compliance with safety and quality requirements.
