The YnKGSLY cable is a specialized solution designed for operation in the demanding conditions of mining. YnKGSLY cables are approved for use in methane and non-methane fields, as well as in workings threatened by coal dust explosions. Additionally, they can be used in intrinsically safe circuits, increasing their versatility and range of applications. They have a positive technical opinion from the TI EMAG Institute (No. 05/53) and a certificate (No. 05/53/A1/2), confirming their compliance with the highest standards of quality and safety.

Cable Construction and Features

The YnKGSLY cable is characterized by a solid construction ensuring long-lasting and reliable operation. It consists of the following elements:

• Conductors: flexible, stranded, twisted from soft copper wires (optionally tinned). This ensures the flexibility of the cable and facilitates its installation even in tight spaces.
• Conductor Insulation: made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) insulation in different colors, which facilitates the identification of individual conductors during installation and maintenance. In a 6-core cable (as in this case), the insulation is green-yellow for the protective conductor and black and blue for the remaining conductors.
• Cable Core: twisted layers of conductors surrounded by a polyester tape, providing additional mechanical protection.
• Cable Sheath: made of a special, self-extinguishing, flame-retardant PVC compound. Available colors are black RAL 9005 or blue RAL 5015 (for use in intrinsically safe circuits).

This particular cable has 7 cores, each with a cross-section of 2.5 mm², making it suitable for transmitting signals of varying intensity.
